Annual Events

• Boots and Bingo, November 12, 2026

  Join us for a fun night of Bingo, silent auctions, Western attire, and Tex-Mex. The event will be held at the Summit Club in Longview, Texas. Each player will receive a 10-game card package and dinner. Additional cards can be purchased for each game. A wide array of silent auction items, door prizes, and Bingo winnings will be awarded. Tickets can be purchased via PayPal @GraceCommunityHealth. • Mahjong for a Mission, April 23, 2026

  Mahjong for a Mission is held in the Spring of each year. Have fun while supporting a great cause. All proceeds of the fundraiser provide prescription funding for patients served by Grace Community Health. American Mahjong is a game enjoyed by individuals of all ages and stages of play. Tables consist of four players. The event is open to all skill levels including beginners. Seasoned Mahjong players are asked to provide their Mahjong tiles, racks, mats, and cards. Instruction for beginners is provided, along with Mahjong supplies. Brunch, prizes, and pop-ups make this event even more fun!

Funding for Grace Community Health

Grace Community Health is completely funded by donations and grants. We hold two annual fundraisers: Mahjong for a Mission in the Spring and Boots and Bingo in the fall. Additionally, we participate in East Texas Giving Day, Giving Tuesday, and accept private or corporate donations from our community partners and individual sponsors. All money raised is directly applied to patient care and programming to improve the lives of those we serve.

Your generosity helps patients control their chronic conditions, seek treatment when they are sick, provide women’s health care, and offer programming such as smoking cessation and nutrition interventions. These provisions help our patients maintain better health, reduce the burden on our local healthcare system, and help promote cost savings by providing preventive and medical care outside of the emergency department. We also accept in-kind donations. Without your support, the services of Grace Community Health would not be possible.
